New surface arena for GMRDA

A new arena surface area is making a big difference for the Greater Manchester Group. After over 3 years of hard fund raising and grant applications, the group were able to fund the re-surfacing of the arena which had been suffering from water logging through the winter months. Going right back to basics, the contractors were on site for a week, digging out the old arena, and laying a surface durable for the northern weather and will last for years! Riders and volunteers alike are joyous of now having a perfect arena all year round. Sue Earl (Treasurer) comments ‘we extend our great thanks for the hard work of the funding team and funders that have enabled us to make this difference’

The Group continue to fundraise through the year and have their sights set on many rider focused activities through the spring and summer.
