Helen Bacon

We are very sorry to tell you that Helen Bacon passed away last weekend, after losing her brave fight with cancer.

Helen was a founding trustee, treasurer and coach at Pegasus RDA and, prior to this, had also been a trustee at Greater Manchester RDA and the Greater Manchester Chair. Helen was also well known in the wider RDA community, winning RDA Volunteer of the Year in 2018.

Helen was a hugely popular lady, who always had such a bright and positive demeanour. She was hardworking and dedicated to RDA.

All of us, on the Regional Committee, send our heartfelt condolences to Helen’s family. Our thoughts are also with Pegasus RDA who are, of course, heartbroken.

Helen’s funeral service will be held on Thursday 5th March at 3pm in the Old Chapel at Manchester Crematorium, which is next to the Southern Cemetery. The address is Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 7GZ.
