Jane Guilford

It is with great sadness that we have to report the death of Jane Guilford our North West Regional Physiotherapist. Jane had been a hard working and dedicated volunteer with RDA for nearly thirty years. She was the Chair of our Camsley Grange Group in Cheshire for many years and was invaluable to them especially throughout several changes of venue during her time with them.

As a qualified Physiotherapist as well as helping children during her working life, she willingly helped all our riders across the North West Region and was a valued member of the Regional Committee. Jane held numerous Training Sessions for our Group Coaches and Volunteers. Her wealth of sound knowledge and experience has greatly influenced the way we all helped and supported our participants with numerous and varied disabilities to get the most out of their riding experience.

Jane and her daughter gave their time to raise much needed funds for our Groups and helped at the International Horse Show in Liverpool in 2019. Jane leaves a legacy of positivity and sound advice and she will be sorely missed by all who knew her within RDA and beyond. Our thoughts go to her loving family at this sad time.
