Exciting news: NEW RDA GROUP
Riding for the Disabled (RDA) North West is thrilled and excited to announce that following consultations with Reaseheath College, both
parties have reached an agreement to create and operate a brand new RDA
Group for the Nantwich and District.
At present, the nearest RDA Groups are as far afield as Northwich, Knutsford
and Clwyd, so the new RDA Group will be a real help for local disabled riders of all ages and abilities.
Sheila Saner, RDA NW Regional Chairman, and also RDA National
Deputy Chairman - who has lived and worked in Nantwich for over 20 years
- said about the new venture “We are incredibly excited as I frequently
receive enquiries from people in our area wanting to become involved but
travelling such a distance often makes it impractical. RDA is an
inspirational and successful organisation that changes and improves the
lives of people with disabilities everyday”.
Caroline Booth - Reaseheath’s Equine Curriculum Area Manager - said ‘Our
fabulous equine facilities, including the state of the art indoor school would be
ideal, and a new RDA Group will help the College to become even more involved
with the local community’. Zoe Cappaert, Resource Commercial Manager at the Equine Centre, enthusiastically supports the new venture.
